CHAMPIONS ONCE MORE

The Los Angeles Kings organization is celebrating their 2nd consecutive Stanley Cup victory and their 3rd in team history. Led by Head Coach Barry Trotz, the team was able to gel at the right time and go on a 12-1 playoff run. A mix of young forwards, Leon Drasaitl, David Pastrnak, Jack Eichel, & Aleksander Barkov, as well as young veterans Mika Zibanejad, Nilkita Kucherov and Jonathan Huberdeau, all put the team on their backs to score key goals. The blue line was led by veterans Zdeno Chara, Mattias Ekholm and Jaccob Slavin. In goal, Andrei Vasilevskiy had a stellar playoff only losing 1 game while posting a 2.13 GAA and a 0.925 Save Percentage.

The Kings organization would like to congratulate GM, Tom Kilmala for leading his Ottawa Senators to the Finals and for having a spectacular regular season. We would also like to congratulate the Edmonton Oilers led by Seb Giguere and the Jets led by Fernando Fonseca for their battles in the 2 first rounds of the playoffs.

We would also like to thank the other GMs for this memorable and enduring season. Now the Kings will have some tough decisions to make with their future lineup as I'm sure all will due to the salary cap freeze. Here's looking forward to our future dealings.
